Happy Halloween MoonShade! There are a few changes I'm sure you've all noticed, and a few that will come into play a little later.

Things you will notice:

In addition to the Halloween updates we're also implementing a new way to raise money for the community, and we plan on doing this by introducing a new job to the roleplay server.

Introducing: The Mayor job
The mayor will come with several features, none of which are too overpowered or considered by us to be "pay to win" which is our main concern when releasing new donor perks. What will happen is that each month we will host a week-long donation pool, and the person who donates the most in that time frame will be rewarded with the limited "Mayor" job.

The mayor job will last for one month and include:

Choose from any of our server-side models to spawn with
100 Armor
AND the ability to be a hybrid money maker

This means the mayor will have the option to lay down two printers, plant six plants, or place one printer and three plants.

for example if they place down three plants they can place a printer down, but if they place a fourth plant they will be unable to place down a printer

In addition to raising more money for the server we are also going to start giving 10% of everything we earn to charity. This is something that I'm sure many of you will appreciate and something I've wanted to do personally for awhile. By sharing the moonshade revenue with those in need we hope to create a sense of giving in our donors.

The charity we've selected is one called Child's Play. You can check it out at http://childsplaycharity.org/.

Their mission statement is: "Child's Play seeks to improve the lives of children in hospitals and domestic violence shelters through the generosity and kindness of the video game industry and the power of play."

I will be posting receipts of the donations made to the organization for those who are curious as to how much a month is going to them. It won't be much at first, but we hope for that number to grow over time!
