So I was looking around old forum posts, I was curious as to why http://moonshade.net/index.php/topic,663.0.html was not answered finally or was never applied.
My thoughts on this idea is to use channels like Arma, Global voice channel and a Local voice Channel. Just curious!

Bringing up something like this is like talking about politics or religion - everyone's just going to keep arguing.

All of that aside, the difficulty of bringing that idea into light with the limited resources I have at hand would take too much work for what it's little worth- the work:worth ratio. Kind of why sourcemod, what powers the roleplay, isn't in Garry's Mod anymore.

That said, the philosophical idea of modifying voice chat evolved into voicerooms.

Arma integrates teamspeak through a mod, for example
My friend and i were playing today and we were robbing a bank, he was on a crane far away, definitely out of ear rangem there are three voice modes, whisper, normal, yelling, they just affect the hearing distance. Now there are radios for a maximum of 5 kilometer talking.

We cant force people to use teamspeal, but we can encourage it to talk inner-friends and stuff like skype
