Real Estate Job?

I was thinking of a new job idea that might actually be pretty interesting..

We could open up applications on the forums for players to apply to become real estate agents on Moonshade. Real estate agents would be in charge of clearing inactive doors, selling houses to newcomers, and be general support for home owners instead of admins being bugged about it constantly. It could turn a hassle for admins into a fun job opportunity for players to make money. I'm not sure exactly how these players would make money directly from their job, but I'm sure it could be done.

Fun idea, but I don't know if it is realistic

This sounds like a great idea. There is already a big variety of jobs but this would be a great addition. I agree the admins are hassled too often with clearing doors and this would definitely help out. Hopefully the admins really consider this.

This would actually be a perfect job! this would shine new light into the jobs on moonshade gaming! Makes it easy for admins, so they dont have to reset doors. This makes it insanely easy for new comers to get cheap rooms and house.

While I do agree this is a position that could be easily abused I think it would be similar to the cop position. The admins would have to make an application on the forums and it would be probably harder to get than the cop job, maybe requiring 70+ hours. I think if the admins could work around abuse in the cop position they can also overcome this.

Could also start fights and drama, the list goes on and on.

Well obviously they wouldn't keep the position and they would most likely be banned. I think the job only requires about 2-3 workers and with one being qua7ro it would be an easy position for the admins to maintain.

To be honest I didn't really think about it but yeah probably, since he proposed it and he is a pretty dedicated member. I guess if there was a more qualified person than they should receive the job though.

i do definitely agree but this is why were trying to come up with ideas for it. Its just a concept so obviously it might be op and chaotic for a bit but it will be tweaked to the point where its good. Remember the R8 when it came out? One shots across the map insanely accurate? well look at it now. Its just another gun in the game that is just as balanced at all of the other guns. Things like this just give you more options so we can do more and enjoy the experience a little bit more.

This would require stats to take down how long someone has been inactive, and plus we have 4 admins that clear doors

Interesting idea but would need a good player to do the job that's active
But I agree with the others, abuse would be devastating and people would reset just for money.

I think this is a good idea due to the admins always having to take care of it but it can easily be abused without anyone knowing. There would also be the cases where someone may clear a apartment because they think the owner isn't active and then when the owner gets on he claims he owned that apartment. Without the admins knowing if it was recently cleared would be a issue.

Regardless of the concept of a Real Estate Agent job possessing everything we want: cooperation, variation, learning curve, etc…it will be exploited one way or another when it comes to profit of buying and selling homes.
