Your In-Game name: Murderous Morty
Offenders In-Game name: Stattrak Bunny
Offenders Steam ID: I don't know he removed me from his friends list, I don't have his profile.

What server did this happen on? RP

What rules did the offender break? Scamming

Proof by screenshots or recorded footage, if any: None, steam doesn't leave any records of canceled trades that were on hold.

Other Comments:

Stattrak Bunny had a day on the "abuse me" map where he decided to sell his skins for $RP. He made trades with I think 3 people, but I'm not sure who the other two where. maybe Lax and BotBunny? I'm not certain who just guessing. Anyway I gave him 300,000 and picked out $3 in skins. He didn't have mobile auth so there was a 15 day trade hold put on it. We helped him set it up but that doesn't really speed anything up. He told me "Don't worry I wont cancel."

Well, I just checked realizing I should have my skins soon, turns out he canceled the offer on me and removed me from his friends list. :smorc:

Anyone else?

As the MOTD clearly states:
"Do not buy player's RP money with Real Life currencies (PayPal, Bitcoin, etc). If you get scammed by this, we will not take action on this."

Why are you trading when you know there is a chance of being scammed? It's your responsibility to choose your buyers and sellers responsibly.

I don't think virtual pixels that look cool (Skins) are real life currencies, especially ones that probably cost close to nothing.

Just pointing out the parallelism in the ease of scamming.

As it stated, it only RL Currencies, this doesn't includes Skins or RP items in this rule. I will update this to make it more clearer, but if you are caught scamming people out of these using anything RP-related or Steam items, you will lose whatever you got from the scam (Obviously not Steam Items or if the items/money is "missing") , blacklist and a 1 week ban. If you continue with this behavior, you will be perm-ban with no appeal. If you like to provide evidence to this, please do so or it will be locked and denied.

I do believe this cuz hes a little ignorant troll.

There is nothing I can provide and a ban doesn't get me my 300,000 back so I don't care much. Technically if he doesn't get banned I might be able to make some of that back off him should he rejoin. This is mostly a warning so everyone knows. (He did do it though.)

Because I like skins more than $RP? That's a dumb question.

Why do you swim at the beach when you know there's a chance of shark attack?

I thought he would follow though as I had played with him some and done him a few favors. Turns out the kid has no honor. It was only 300k anyway.

If anyone has his steam profile please link me. I want to message him.

scamming is not against the rules; we do not punish for it

if you don't want to get scammed, don't trade RP money for crap
