What is the bug/glitch? If you type kill in console you die

Is it possible to replicate the bug/glitch? Yes

Other comments: Don't test this out as you will be kicked because it is exploiting, even if you are stuck in a room and you can't leave DONT type kill in console because it is against the rules apparently.

If your going to ban people who type kill in console I would reccomend actually telling people about this because I dont think anybody knows about this rule, I was stuck in a room, I typed kill in console, and you kicked me, nowhere in the rules does it say anything about this... Maybe you might wanna tell people its against the rules before you ban them for something that nobody knew you weren't allowed to do... Kill in console is the most common way to get out of somewhere if your stuck, I'm not sure if you've ever noticed that, I have a bind for it aswell and then one day out of the blue POOF it's against the rules and considered "exploiting" Im guessing jumping off a ledge is exploiting to?

Instead of typing kill in console, you are supposed to type /stuck. There's a reason that command was added to the server.

What's the reason? Why is it any better? /Stuck just delays the death, puts a message in chat, adds some sfx, then performs a /kill.. does it not?

I don't get this rule. Why is this a ban worthy offense?

There's an exploit related to using kill in console which I will not explain since obviously, it's an exploit and we don't want to spread that around. Just know that staff has very sound reasoning for banning kill in console and requiring the usage of /stuck.

I'm guessing people using /kill when they are aabout to die with drugs to keep all their drugs? All i can think of.. Which means it should only be an exploit and banable if they did that imo.

You keep your drugs either way.

Yeah but /kill is instant no? So if you're being shot at..

That's tantamount to saying you shouldn't be banned for installing an aimbot and having it run while you're playing the game. You should only be banned once you toggle the aimbot on, but if you have it in the background, it's okay.

Not at all, kill is an extremely common command used on all servers and there is no rule about it anywhere. If it's supposed to be disabled and isn't that's the server operators fault not the users. If they get caught abusing it as a hotkey to escape death that's one thing, but using your kill hotkey you use on every other server instinctively instead of /stuck for /stuck purposes? cmon.. at least catch them doing something wrong.

Yeah but /kill is instant no? So if you're being shot at..

/kill is 6 seconds I believe, so is explode, spectate, etc.
