The server is lagging really bad when you try to cuff someone the knife doesn't work because it lags out and everyone is just lagging around the map. Myback can you please restart the server everything is in the red. I know itmight be from all the people on the server but can you please restart it everyone is lagging and everyone wants it restarted.

Too many players, you probably just have to live with it.
Yes more players recently is making the server lag but it might help if it got restarted.

I will lower the tickrate to 102.4 next time I restart the server tonight. The other rate cvars will be adjusted appropriately.

It already clears props every hour, and myback came on and turned off the snow which seemed to cool it down a bit.
I initiated a vote if everyone was cool with muting all
it appears to help the lag.
Doors are smoother for me at least.
The lag on the server is a collection of multiple things.
- Microphone usage.
- Open-world map which is hard to optimise with Source Engine.
- Props on the floor.
- Players in general.
Certain fixes:
- Proximity chat, JK LOL.
- Editing of the map to lower the visibility but boost the FPS.
- Have props removed from the floor every 15 minutes.
- Disable ragdolls and decals such as blood/bullets.
- Lowering the tickrate will help reduce lag as it will have to do fewer calculations, honestly, go ahead and turn it down to 64 tickrate but not any lower.
Disableing the blood/bullet holes would probaly help alot especially that new players everyday. Today the highest was 31 players and last night when I was AFK the was 17 people the server is very populated almost 24/7 so if you can do anything it would help.

That is clientside, use r_cleardecals to clear them. Ragdolls can be disabled as well.

They remove every hour, it should be enough. They also remove when approaching the entity limit.

64 tick does not allow bhop, even with the plugin assist. Mostly everyone relies on bhop. I will be reducing it to 102.4 and adjusting rate cvars soon enough.
