Instead of uploading your forum avatar, you may want to set it to an already existing image. To to this, follow the steps below:
- Go to your profile page by clicking on "Profile" on the navigation bar.

- On your profile, hover over "Modify Profile" and select "Forum Profile". Click on "Forum Profile" to head to the section where you're going to change your avatar.

- When going to the image you wish to make your avatar, right click and select "Copy image address".

- Now comes the hard part. Select "Specify avatar by URL" and once you paste in the URL you copied to your clipboard, you may need to change some of it.

- Important: If the URL starts with "https://" you must change it to "http://" by removing the s in https. If there's an https:// when you click "Change Profile" then your avatar won't work.

- Finally, click "Change profile" and if followed correctly, your avatar should be altered to the image given in the link.

And you're all finished. Hopefully this was useful enough. The main takeaway is it won't work when you have a link with "https://" in it. Just change it to "http://"
