Why is the server dead now? I barely see anybody on anymore.
Is the server dead?
As you most likely know, Suh was banned earlier in the past few months for basically being mischievous around MoonShade's partner at the time "Prophet Gaming" the owner then requested for him to be banned from MoonShade. The admins then followed up by banning him, and unbanning him to give him another chance soon after.
As you've probably noticed some people have been renaming their doors to make them seem like they're for sale, which is borderline exploiting. Suh had done this while hanging by a thin thread at that point, so when he had renamed his door to something along the lines of: For Sale: $50,000 which is considered exploiting, and since he was hanging by that thin thread mentioned earlier, he was banned again.
On to why the server has less people than normally on it.
Suh had been going around spreading some sort of rumor about MoonShade, specifically about myback, and basically manipulated multiple people to quit the server entirely, just because HE was banned for exploiting after already being in hot water.
I personally have chosen to help out the server in any way I can. One of the main things you should do is help out new players, as there are always people who join during the day and wander around not knowing what to do until they eventually leave. If everyone pitches in and helps out these people, the server won't seem to be "dead" any longer. And everyone can get their drugs/printers or other money making methods going again.
#1 School, all the kids are busy! No, this is a fake excuse. Look at all the other servers that have more than ten players on them and tell me the same thing. I'm looking at you, Coal. This is getting old, I had this same excuse in 2014 & 2015.
#1 (for real) -> Valve uses Linux to host their servers. So they didn't notice that a recent update broke Windows servers, which we use to run the server on, resulting in the downtime of a few days.
#2 (mainly why) -> We don't want players who are pulled like strings and are manipulated by salty, upset "yes men". Admittedly, I should have taken the advice from that professional server manager to leave the instantiated ban long ago, rather than simply putting him on a parole-like state.
The best thing you can do: Join and don't disconnect. Otherwise, when you come back you will recognize nobody because there will be a whole new generation of players. Comparing this to an ethnic cleansing is not recommended, but its the closest relatable event in modern history. Except, in this case, it was the easily-manipulated kids who followed Suh's orders to leave the server.
No, not dead. Never dead, dead is gone. Now go train some new players, THAT'S AN ORDER, SOLDIER!!

1: School, I'm a kid, I'm busy!
2: Am I the only one that thinks this server kind of needs all the players it can get? We're not really to pick and choose who we want to be on the server if we want the server to thrive. Sure some people may be a bit gullible, or kind of a cunt, but it makes my plants grow faster, which is what I mainly stay on the server for.
OPINION.
Edit: I mean, cmon, you could've just like told them that suh was lying; also, if they don't want to play if suh can't play, then I'd tolerate it (don't unban suh tho). There's a lot of people who don't play games if they aren't playing them with a friend of theirs, it's a completely understandable behavior that shouldn't be looked down upon.
Edit AGAIN: kool to see suh's banned tho lol cya (meme, ignore)
