#1 School, all the kids are busy! No, this is a fake excuse. Look at all the other servers that have more than ten players on them and tell me the same thing. I'm looking at you, Coal. This is getting old, I had this same excuse in 2014 & 2015.
#1 (for real) -> Valve uses Linux to host their servers. So they didn't notice that a recent update broke Windows servers, which we use to run the server on, resulting in the downtime of a few days.
#2 (mainly why) -> We don't want players who are pulled like strings and are manipulated by salty, upset "yes men". Admittedly, I should have taken the advice from that professional server manager to leave the instantiated ban long ago, rather than simply putting him on a parole-like state.
The best thing you can do: Join and don't disconnect. Otherwise, when you come back you will recognize nobody because there will be a whole new generation of players. Comparing this to an ethnic cleansing is not recommended, but its the closest relatable event in modern history. Except, in this case, it was the easily-manipulated kids who followed Suh's orders to leave the server.
No, not dead. Never dead, dead is gone. Now go train some new players, THAT'S AN ORDER, SOLDIER!!
