When you start, you want to type /tutorial and go through the tutorial. If you have over 800 crime and a cop is on, wait until you have under 800 crime before typing /tutorial. After that, you will be able to understand my guide from there.
Starting off with, there are three jobs that can make you good money and are worth playing. The first job is pizza delivery. The second job is counterfeiter. The final job is drug dealer. Many people may bicker over which job is the best, but, it depends on what you're looking for. If you are going away for a while to do something in real life or do something productive while waiting and don't want to cops to ring your door bell in, counterfeiter is the best for that situation. Drug dealer is the best for making money and putting that money into the economy, but, also the best as getting crime and going to jail. A drug dealer can only do three drug runs in quick succession without having a bounty, which means you will go to jail even if a cop doesn't cuff you, if you die. Pizza delivery allows making money as quick as you can move and gives you no crime, but, is between counterfeiter and drug dealer in terms of money over time if you apply yourself.
Because of the way counterfeiter and drug dealer work, it's better to do them in a house and with locks, but, not really. Most people can break all of your locks and most cops will tell other players to break your locks so they don't break a rule by switching between civilian and cop or kicking your door under 2500 crime. This is still a form of abuse of power, but, will happen a lot. Because of this, you will have to do what I call minmax. The reason why is because locks should be worth 1/3rd the price of lock breakers. Essentially lock breakers should be worth 3000 while locks are worth 1000, because this would be balanced in terms of players being able to accumulate wealth without getting hazed by a single old player that just happened to dislike the person. How do you minmax? Simple.
((rate of income - money losses)/crime)/time
The higher the number you get from this formula, the more money you are actually making over time. Crime is obviously over simplified here. So how can I make this formula work for me? Very simple. Two jobs. Jewish Extravagant and Scientist. "But wait", You say," Is it not true that both of those jobs make way less money than everybody else?". The answer to that is yes and no. You see, you have to know how to play them. If there aren't many players online, you may want to switch to the Jewish Extravagant, but, if there are more than five active players that are counterfeiters or drug dealers, go scientist. This is what you do.
There are two places players can bank money. One place isn't secure while the other place allows people with under a certain amount of crime, to be protected. You want to go to the place where people are less protected, but, there is a lesser concentration of people. The reasoning behind this is that players who are dealing drugs will not have the same protection from the protected area which has more people at it, thus, will feel safer going to the area with less players in order to bank money. No matter if they sell drugs or not, they HAVE to bank money or risk losing it. Because the path of least resistance is going into the bank, you can easily get a PP Bison which does the most damage for the entire clip out of all weapons and also slows the player as they get hit, and camp behind one side of the double doors. There are no windows, so nobody will know you are on the other side as long as you don't stand in the door way. Scientist can place teleporters to make players feel like they will have an even easier trip to this bank, risking 100 cash just to get killed. As a scientist, even if the player didn't have money, you still make money if they use the teleporter.
