Trying. Old arguments still get brought up. I threw a fit, because it's old drama that should be dying off. People are still causing it to drag out.
Including me for complaining about it.
I would touch base on the reputation these other people have - but we won't.
Both parties are toxic. Only difference is that they actually have cop.
I can see where this is going, though. Maybe the reason my toxicity is being touched upon is because of the fact that there is fear I will use this class to gain some type of revenge. That's really not my intention - I don't think a past behavior should be held against someone as grudges happen in the server often as a result of a few things.
- Stealing resources
- Differentiating opinions
- Just a troll
I can't tell you what to do though, or what you're thinking. I've dropped that - and I shouldn't have thrown a fit.
But, if you kept getting harassed every time another user happens to be in the server with you at the same time, would you not get upset? It's to that point now.
That's where the frustration comes from. Anyone would be frustrated in that position. It's moved from toxicity to defending myself at this point.
Regardless - I don't really think I am lying to myself at this point. I wouldn't sit here and blow smoke about how I am making attempts to better myself in the server. I'm not that guy. However, I do know there is bandwagon tactics being used to make me appear as though I am not any better. To this, we point towards me being compared to br1ck. Again, to go further would mean touching base on other peoples reputation. We can also point to the fact that they have cop, and are very toxic.
I was told to go back to GMOD rp by a person who won't be named. But he has commented on this post. He said this multiple times. I guess we can use this as an example of something I left alone. I simply shrugged it off. I help new players as much as I can, because I understand how difficult it can be to even get into the simplest form of roleplay ( We have all started somewhere, and whenever I started - it was a pain )
At this point, and in accordance to the pertinent information gathered through opinions stated on this post, it's very clear that there is a split feeling about me on the server. It is split, almost 50/50 about how my reputation is on the server.
And let me tell you something, it took a lot of work just to get to that 50%.
Any progress, is progress. We cannot deny that.
There is no way I am going to make everyone like me.
Also, I actually put a lot of effort into this, judging by the feedback on my application - and the responses I have made.
This should speak miles about how willing I am to use this class properly. I wouldn't waste my time if I wanted this to abuse.
I wouldn't sit here and spend this much time, just to get it taken away.
In my opinion, we shouldn't be using reputation as a verdict as to whether or not someone gets the class that has more responsibility.
We should go off of merit, and the effort put into the application process. If someone wants something badly enough, they will take the time to produce a quality application that points out, in several points, what they will do in a very professional tone - and in an honest one as well. That is what I have done here.
But, that's my opinion.
Remember, blacklisting is always an option when it goes south. Not that it is my intention to have that happen. You're taking a risk, and I am asking you all, as a community, to take the risk on me. That I may be more deserving of this class. That I may be chosen over other applicants. It's up to you to see the benefits of allowing me to do this, as it is my goal to benefit the community through quality use of this class.
