STREAMING Westfield_V2 Development

I just wanted to ask how many people would be interested in watching the development of westfield_v2 on Twitch if I were to stream it.
Trying to get a rough estimate of a dedicated community that would aid and guide in the making of this map as your live feedback would be the best for this whole project. This isn't to advertise my stream, it's simply beneficial to those who enjoy watching the behind the scenes who also like to get their say in.

Your live feedback is what I'm most interested in as you could influence the design decisions and completely change the whole experience.
This is for sensible audiences, I don't mind a bit of banter here and there however I'm looking for constructive criticism only.
Apart from this, it's a great way to get motivated by you guys as I will see you in chat and know that you're here to support me and the production of the map.

This is probably a once in a live time opportunity, I can still change my mind if I want this whole project of v2 to be a secret surprise however I feel like the constant support from you guys throughout the project would be much better as a reward.

Sounds like a really good idea, I would love to come watch so i can give you ideas and things that players might enjoy included in the map.

I would like to watch it and i feel that we all need to watch it. XanX needs our feedback, and it's easier to implement what we ask for ( if possible ) while he is making it

I think it's a great idea!

But I do warn you.
Don't take suggestions off the desires of singular people who only want to benefit themselves. (I.E want a building specifically tuned for themself). And if you do want suggestions, there's an entire team created you could pick the brains of.

( I talk from experience from when I developed an Arms 3 Map, it was horrendous when my partners took all the criticism as if It was the bible.)

Mittlefans is one of the top maps favored by the majority of players, the open space and hills and tall buildings introduced a unique experience. It was also huge so no one ever really got bored of it. Maybe take some points from the success of mittlefans in the development of this new map?

That's what I forgot to suggest, more areas you need to really think to get up to, things you can get to before everyone else figures out.

Yesss.

Try designing the map in a way where playerclips aren't blocking you off from so many places. If you can see it, you can get to it. Have places you don't want accessible actually blocked off with geometry if you have to.

Development has been halted due to the unfortunate occurrence of my files being removed from my system.
I still have the map files and the models however I lost all of the .qc files and .blend files which were responsible for the models. Without those I am unable to texture the current models in-game.
No possible way to recover the files unfortunately.

I watched some of it, i have a question can you make the bank look just a little diffrent, its looked great but it just looks the same besides the outside i think that was a great addition.

Yup the inside will be reworked so do not worry, I didn't like the original inside either but we'll figure something out 🙂
