Bail?

Bail would be a cool concept to add to the RP server, players could bail themselves out of jail depending on their jail time, and the amount of money they have.

Should be part of the lawyer job to encourage players to play it.
With this, the lawyer should not be able to take out weapons and have higher health and have access to the PD.

This would be a really good idea as long as players can't bail people out of VIP jail. Really like the idea though +rep

Thats sounds awesome having a laywer come in and acsess a bail thing.

Might be perhaps, however this is one of the ways I can think of that a player can access another player. Just like the hooker job, you press E on her and get to use her "services", money get's taken out of your wallet and essentially have sex... but in this case you'd press E on the lawyer, pay for your bail with money from your BANK account not wallet and then you'd be free. The lawyer get's a cut and then the rest is taken by the city tax. You're free and you don't have to playing fucking agario for 500+ seconds. 🙂

Well [member=25]XanX[/member] what I suggest is a better option would be that the Lawyer could open up a menu and its shows all players currently jailed. The Lawyer would see the amount of bail he needs to be paid then have the option to choose the jailed player's name which would send a request to the jailed player offering to pay a certain amount from his/her bank to be free. The amount of bail they would need to pay could be determined by the amount of crime they had before jail, or the amount of time they have in jail.

In that case, it would need to cost a lot of money.

[member=588]Skittle[/member] Why would it be cheap? Just like in real life it would be more practical to just wait out their punishment instead of paying their way out. If you think about it this would be a job that doesn't create crime and makes good money. An idea many people have been demanding for a while now. I could go on and on with supporting evidence and reasons.

Just wondering, couldn't this be exploited a cop a friend and a laywer all go in cop gives money to person, person bails out. Its a good idea just need more info on the idea.

Maybe it could scale between their dmrep and times jailed as well.

And if they have enough MRDM, no bail.

Such a great feature should be added, not only that, if it were part of the lawyer job it would give players to chose a different job for once other than drug dealer and Jewish extravagant. It shouldn't be hard to implement either.

Yeah it was in but it was so fucking cheap that it was abused.
