So apparently if someone scams people for real money, posting personal info isn't good.

But if someone ddoses a server, then it's okay to dox them, leak the info, and then call their fucking parents.

Also, if you've resigned from head admin and can still lock and delete shit, and are active on the forums, shouldn't you just have the tag Forum Moderator until you take your head admin position back?

It called being a sheep to MyBack at that time. What MyBack does with the admin team falls under the concept of Groupthink. "Impaired group decision making that occurs when making the right decision is less important than maintaining group harmony. Poor judgments made by members of groups that are overly influenced by perceived group consensus or the leader’s point of view.
." MyBack controls things to go his way and his way only, leading to wrong decisions being made among the admin team. At certain points within this community, I had to be the front man of attacks against MyBack, which led to me taking all the shit and questioned why I continued to defend him sometimes. Some of the shit didn't need my involvement, but I blindly followed along and made some shitty decisions that were influenced by MyBack. It turned me into awful person and made me depressed. Because I resigned from my position doesn't mean I can't still care for this community. At this moment, MoonShade is falling apart from bad leadership from MyBack, Mewn, and myself. If we can't fix the issues and show more respect toward this community, this server will just die like many other RP servers.

@[deleted], to directly answer your post, I was told to get his information to stop the ddossing. Posting the information is on my fault. No one knew I was going to publicly release the information. I do fucking regret posting it, thought, as I didn't want all that shit with that information being abused by members of the community, "Zoom" (Great job giving him the information, MyBack), Before I posted it, Zoom was given the information by MyBack, which was an insta-regret, as Zoom immediately harassed their family, as many others. That whole situation turned me into a shit individual and if I could, I would apologize to Unlocated and their family for the trouble I created. Like I said before, I still care for this community, as it is apart of my life.

Nah, groupthink is when people don't say anything in a group to maintain the group harmony, and a few more voiced opinions prevail. In our meetings people usually go off on their opinions and we take them into consideration and a decision is made, that's not groupthink. People typically voice their opinions to myback, but he chooses whether he wants to carry it out or not. If you "blindly carried out" what myback wanted to do, that's not groupthink. That's just you doing what myback said, and that's not his fault. You're a freethinking human being Jamal, whether you like it or not.

I will say this though, and I'm sure myback would agree. We give everyone a platform to speak, we let every admin present their own concerns, and I typically ask how everyone feels about a decision before it is made (in the meetings I attend). Even when this process happens myback will still choose to deny to perform something in the meeting we all discussed and agreed on, and it is ultimately his choice to do so because he is the one that does the coding, and our decisions almost always require him to do the work. So it makes sense that he denies some tasks, despite our conclusions in the meetings.

Also the community isn't dying. I swear people have been saying this since the beginning, and we've been going for nearly two years strong. We're far from the brink of death.

Myback does everything that needs to be done without a fault, and if there is any faults, it gets fixed and resolved very easily, if it doesn't resolve itself already.

Blackmailing? I not even forcing him to make a choice at all. This community should know how shit goes down. People are losing hope in the struggle of the admin team. People only defend him now because he have access to everything, meaning if he decide to leave, those servers and plugins would be no more. If it wasn't for Gnome and other speaking up against the decision of removing locks, the # of players would continue to sink.

The server has always had ups and downs Jamal. Just because the player count is low doesn't mean it won't rise again.

There's no question that what Myback wants typically happens, because he's the one that implements it. If we didn't have him there would be no server in the first place, and what he does is always for the server. I'm not saying things wouldn't be better if he left some things into the hands of others, but we have yet to discuss that.

Just complaining does nothing. Post some legitimate solutions and then we could actually have a conversation about how to fix whatever you think are problems.

People do have a right in this community to know what is going on and why they are treated like they are. Starting a flame war won't do anything for you Jamal, and throwing out insults at me definitely won't get you anywhere. If all you want is for myback to change his actions then try talking to him instead of complaining on the forums.

Also, people always get to say what they want on the server so I don't understand where you're coming from there.

Jamal, you bring up some good points about how we need better communication about just getting told to stfu, but more than that we also need better communication in everything that goes on in the meetings, now before i get a shitstorm of YOU DONT KNOW WHAT GOES ON IN THE MEETINGS, but all im saying is that back then cop apps were reviewed every friday, no matter what it always got done. Now its never known when.

You also bring good points to the table of what we need to do to get the server filled, because we can't just hide from the fact that the server is slowly dieing.
We need for things to be the good way like it was on City 45 we got the locks back which Thank you so very much, but anyways the sweet rich way we had it in City 45 got a stable amount of players and I can say this and mean it this is whats making people go away the things that the expected in the map change like a new map with locks and the fun that players had is not here anymore.

With BIG admins leaving its bad and with no hope for players that there will be no new admins to fix things people are leaving.

1st, please please please please please please stop saying the sever is slowly dyng. NO, I'm not "hiding from the fact" that its dying. Its simply not dyng. Since the re-addition of locks a lot of players have been playing and it's been just fine.
We DONT need new admins. Period. earth and Underwater were recently added as admins, and we don't really need very many admins to be honest. If you can give a good reason we need more admins then we currently have please do so, but I really don't think we need any more.
Some say we need more admins because there are many times admins aren't online the server. Even if was always an admin online, what could they possibly do? They have to see someone doing something to punish them, and they cant be in 15 places at once.
And how often do you really find yourself needing an admin? For the most part everyone follows the rules, with the VERY rare occurrence of a hacker, cop RDM, and mic spammer. Hackers come on once every 2 months MAYBE, its been much longer than that many times. Admins cant do anything about cop RDM unless they have proof, so what does that do? Mic spammers will always be mic spammers, a simple /stfu namehere will always do the trick. One again admins cant do much about that without proof.

I like how people who are always saying they want to be admin are the ones to say we need more admins, yet they cant even find a good reason. Also Matthew, MyBack does keep an open mind when it comes to finding new admins, he keeps a very open mind, but he also doesn't want bad admins. So I'm not saying you would be a bad admin Matthew, but I personally think its for the better of the sever that you're not one.
