VPN for school?

I used to download a VPN application to bypass my school's online restrictions, but I forgot how to anymore.
Computers are windows 10 and use chrome or firefox.
Is there any tips someone can pass on? Apparently I went on moonshade forums so many times they eventually found out and restricted access on the site.

I advise only using mobile VPN's. My high school that I had went to made it clear in their terms of service to not use VPN's, so just make sure to be careful when using one so nobody catches you.

That being said, they can monitor your desktop access much more easier than mobile VPN with their little software.
