A Server For Everyone

I want to start off this post by extending my upmost appreciation for the Moonshade community and everyone in it, I love the hell out of you guys! This is merely my observations and suggestions to make the server a happier, more unique place to play the game in an already different way. I mean all of this from the bottom of my hippy heart and I just merely want to see Moonshade become something better!

The purpose of this post is to bring to light some things that have not been fully answered and are restircting the servers potential for fun.
For example, the last time we all heard about locks, they were going to be added soon right? Well the lack of communication on this issue has caused rumors to arise, such as they will never return, or that admin is not adding locks to encourage players to buy donator and recieve the 'safe' vip house. Whats the truth? The truth is nobody knows, and to be honest, probably not the administration.
Locks are a unique and IMPORTANT part of the gameplay we enhibit. Yes, its been fun raiding large members of the community, but its not true roleplay. And soon, it will be come stale. Real stale.

The Second Idea I would like to bring to light is the idea of variety. I understand that the typical boring lifeform enjoys simplicity and blandeness, but people like me CANT STAND IT. In city45 there were many unique houses, garages, and places to live. While I love westfield, it lacks one thing. Variety.
Even the townhomes (1 Mil Houses) and the Mansions, are all THE EXACT SAME. Now Im not suggesting a new map, because westfield rocks! But we need more ways to make our home sweet homes more UNIQUE.
Last night and this morning, I experience 2 of the greatest things ive ever seen on the server. The first being the addition of our beloved Taxi Man to my house. His pressence not only made my house feel special, but made it unique to me and those who loved taxi man. The second was sheckles giving a few lucky people different door skins! This was amazing because now your door was special to you, and no long just a number. Being able to change your door as a player or make it so we can put just 1 or 2 SMALL NON LAGGY props in our houses.

This probably sounds like an anti-government non conformity speech, because well, it fucking is. If you want to live in a world of social structure and bordem then, just take a look outside at the world you live in. I do things like rp to be imaginative and creative, not to be restricted or condemned. Let the kids have a little fun! Let people put weird things in their house! Let people do the things that make them feel special, because at the end of it all, Moonshade wont be around for ever, and this server and community wont be. But if allowing people to have some fun, or just giving them something to look forward to, to get them through the day, then we can create a community that truly is something special and makes a difference.

The real truth not saying that your wrong Steazy is that yes there is a lack of communitcation cause the admin thats only always on is Earth and he is a basic admin that dosent talk in mic and dosen't clear things as well is he could, am I calling Earth a bad admin OH HELL NAW Earth is one of the best just like the rest of the admins but hes just on more then others. But back to it Moonshade as Steazy says is fun but we need a community that no matter what if they say something is going to happen it happens unless it need to be put back for a important reason, the locks situation We were told they were coming back soon they're still not here and people don't know why and im saying I dont know either but I can assume that it was held back for reasons that we didn't need to know cause its none of our bissnues but for reasons that juts need to be put back. I know for a fact that MyBack works his ass of for this community and he sometimes dosen't get to do what he want cause of the server but MyBack you gotta understand what the community is coming from your admins said they were coming back after one day of Westfield so everyone could get settled before the havoc began and its still not here, but as I said before it could have been held back for important reasons, but you could have told us that and we would understand were not going to witchhunt Moonshade or Myback for not giving us the locks cause of a situation that us players have nothing that we can do to change. I feel that this is going to get alot of drama and im going to accept that cause people wanna voice there opinon and I think that we should let them do that but with this post I dont think that we should ban or yell at people for making it but to understand that the players that aren't connected as much as say Earth and Joker or someone else we need to hear at least some of it. Now what he said about changes, I think that we should at least try out some suggestions like Madimir's Black Market cause when I was in game with Steazy he brought up a good point that nowa days its just sit in your house and plant make money and repeat theres no fun in it and with the recent no locks thing that will be taken away soon to where its only killing as of now I will finish this post but I will add as the comments roll in.

Allow me to repeat for the 500th time that I don't know what the hell is going on myself. Nobody does, only Biscuit, Myback and apparently Sheckles does. Even if I did know, I wouldn't tell you guys because if they aren't saying anything themselves, clearly it's meant to stay that way and it will be a big surprise. I don't know how to make it any more clear that I DO NOT KNOW so there's nothing I can or will tell you, I am just as clueless as you guys.

You guys just need to be patient. If things do or don't happen, it's all for a reason. Myback has been in RP communities longer than anyone else in the community has, he knows what he is doing. He hasn't forgotten about you guys, in fact all his time is being put into making the server better for you guys. Getting people riled up just because you don't know what's coming is not helping in the slightest bit. Great things take time and hard work, and stressing out the developer could possibly interfere with this.

Let. Myback. Work.
You will all know when it's time.

the special door skin thing was something i was doing for fun, as it resets after a server crash/restart, it intentionally doesnt save so it doesnt ruin the map :p

Many moons ago, on abusemcity, we were able to have furniture, i remember one of my first admin situations/cases was people breaking into homes, then starting the furniture snd bringing it to the garbage dump, as funny as i thought it was, it was wrong. The thing about props is how we can't have too many entities. I got a little carried away with the fire bomb things, and that most likely caused the server crash, even though they were all deleted O_o.

Anyways, i know how you feel about true roleplay, that was my idea with the economy changes and whatnot. Some stuff i still want added, hopefully that will pipe down the rdm and stuff..

Now, lets talk locks, the first day myback and i wrote down good ideas and cool stuff on our colorful google doc, i had the idea to have locks come with the door. realistically, you don't have 20,000 locks in a door. With the addition if no locks, it makes alot of you upset than rather recognize the intention. It makes it harder to stay safe for long and make money. You have to piggyback on each other and no longer stay afk all day, you have to work for your money, and understand thevalue of money. Who knows what coule happen.

Sheckles what does myback having college, employed, and developer have to do with madimir explaining that there is a max amount of entities able to be on the server.

Every time you make a motherfucking post, even your COP APPLICATION you go and ask for reps, specifically +re- Wait, I'm not doing this right, I have to make my font bigger to make it seem like I'm smart and capable of making a long post!

Anyways, you go and ask for reps, specifically +reps on your posts that nobody gives an honest fuck about. Think about it this way, if a percentage of the servers population are children ranging from the ages of 10 to 13, which in my opinion, are the easiest to manipulate. So basically what you're doing is going on the server, specifically targeting this age group, and asking them to go +rep your post and saying "The server needs to be changed." You think anyone is going to actually read this fucking post if all you do is ask them to "+rep it to change the server."

what the fuck dose that have to do with anything I'm defending myback and your attacking me you don't know what's going on BECAUSE YOU'RE NEVER ON THE SERVER so don't come in thinking you know every thing that's happening.

I agree we need locks back and COMMUNICATION. like, pls. its kind of annoying myback said locks would be back way earlier. also why the huge post you just made like 3 points lol. you already know probably but entities in our homes would go above the entity limit of csgo or somethin like that, im not jamal.
