Ouch, sounds rough. I'm agreeing with everything Sheckles said, get well soon.
I was trimming a stick for my lizards cage. Normally I would check for nails prior to cutting but I found the stick in the middle of nowhere so I thought nothing of it. Its no longer in there, I pulled it out about an hour afterward. I can go to the doctors in two weeks ( one month after my last visit).

No seriously, he told me his girlfriend stepped on a nail like... twice in the same month or something.
This is true, except she stepped on another one the same day I stepped on one. ( there use to be a nail factory in my town, entire town is covered in them)
