it is true though to some degree, lol. Dictator ships usually start from a democracy, Hitlers started that way, same with Mussolini. It always starts out with a vote, and if the vote isnt what he/she expects he just says its law, that is exactly like Hitler, not comparing anyone to anyone, just pointing out common themes in history.
inb4 someone says Germany was socialist.
inb4 someone says Italy was Fascist.

Is it bad if people are showing their appreciation towards me? Even in a sarcastic and/or comical matter?
Whats to appreciate about denying admin apps, or admins who need removal?
That term "appreciation" is relative. It makes sense for you to say it from the stand point of the updates/coding/etc, but that is completely different from admins. Admins is more to management of staff.
"appreciation" needs to not be used here, simply because it can make a two sided argument one sided, ending the argument in one side being oppressed.
It also shows how you can attempt to be "alpha male" on the internet, which also ends with one side being oppressed.
In the long run, "appreciation" is terrible, most people use it to gain sympathy if someone starts hating on them. When you see a YouTuber that has 1 million subs they tend to thank the audience more when drama happens, "thanks for supporting me", "i dont know where i would be without you guys", etc. They never once say, "you should appreciate me more because i entertain you!" That shows how ungrateful someone is, so please enough of the victimization of oneself.
