Rules you view as most important: I'd probably have to say that it's the respect all players rule. I know that most people are going to say this rule, but it is one of the most important rules for keeping a community running. If you get disrespected constantly, odds are you won't want to stay which is why this rule is one of the most important. Without rules like this, a community will not be successful.
Why do you want to become a cop and why should we pick you over other applicants? Why should I be picked over other applicants? I can bring many elements to the table that other applicants cannot. One of these things being that I am impartial to everyone. I've seen some cops that are extremely biased, jailing some people and then just cuffing others, when they've done the same stuff. I am willing to treat everyone unbiased, unlike some of the cops that I've seen. This is even in the cop procedures. "Do not favor specific citizens as a cop. Play fair." I also believe that I can bring maturity to the table. I have been staff on multiple servers across many games, ranging from GMod to Arma 3 all dealing with RP. I know that this is more of a light RP server, but it still has rules and it still is somewhat RP related. I have dealt with trolls, rule breakers, and many things of the sort. I know how to resolve situations and how to follow rules. I think these things combined make me qualified to be a police officer on the server.
