  • Vip'ed without warning? (Just curious)

Now, I know that I RDM a lot. That should be acknowledged as truth. I am wondering if a 1800s jail without warning is fitting for it.
The reason I ask, is up til this point, most people understand that I am well intentioned, but on mostly for killing. However, I got VIP'ed by DOGE after muting him. Several times he would approach and kill me, (which is fine as I am RDMing) but after killing him back he VIP'ed me then vote gagged me when i brought this concern up in game (in addition to skittle expressing quite a anger about it is well, which he is entitled to feel).

If it was a concern, a simple "enough already" would have been enough for me to cease my RDM's for a appropriate time. I have gotten warnings for everytime things have begun to be "not just fun" and do abide by them.

No worries either way, ill make sure to walk a line when DOGE is in on the future.

Skittle and DOGE's opinion, thus far, is that it was a fitting reaction. Which I can respect. Does anyone else have input?

FOR THE RECORD: I do not want to make this a formal report, which is why i posted here. If this can only be discussed in the report section I apologize. I merely want to see if a change is procedure is appropriate.

lol the fuck I dont even have cop on my new acc yet, I think some fgt changed there name to Doge and VIPd u lmfao. Also can I get my cop?

If that is the case, that would explain Skttles anger, and would lead me to believe he was the one who VIP'ed me.

Yeah no problem man, earlier I saw in the chat "Cat has changed there name to Doge" soo...

It is as it is. Not looking to start problems with anyone in particular, but it seems to me the line between rdm'ing and mass rdm'ing needs to be more clearly defined. A warning seems appropriate.

Renamed myself "Doge" for a few minutes as a joke.

Cloud all I've seen you do when I'm on is RDM, so I put you in VIP because of it

Also I don't get angry at kids on the internet... lmfao

I would beg to differ :pinkheart:

Literally only person is DennyB, he annoyed me to the point where I was ALMOST mad about it.

Skittle, As stated before this issue is not directly with you, but procedure in these situations. I served my time and re-logged to get rid of the gag. Its over. I also stated I do RDM frequently. It was the first thing I wrote.
Now that I have taken the time to re-hash, I'll rehash the important part of my post.

I think a warning before VIP, is appropriate.

I do not think anything else should change. I would totally understand if I was given the chance to stop, and didn't. That would make being VIP'ed fair and reasonable.

You shouldn't need a warning if you mass dm you will be vip jailed.

Couldnt have said it better myself.

To be honest, a cop doesn't have to give you a formal warning before putting you in VIP. It's entirely up to them if they want to give you a formal warning before deciding to VIP you.

If you amassed 10+kills in 5~ minutes, they're within their rights to stick you in VIP, whether it's with a warning or not. Depends on the cop that carries out the judgment.

A VIP sentence exists solely to discipline RDM'ers that disrupt gameplay for other players on the server with excessive RDM. If anyone thinks that you should serve a VIP sentence, it might be time to cut down on excessively RDM'ing. I understand that you wanted to clear this up as you may have been confused.

Try easing on your RDM and make some friends on the server! Makes gameplay a lot smoother as RDM is more easily forgiven when you're friendly with the players because it becomes a matter of trying to have harmless fun on the server, rather than mindlessly RDM'ing everyone which can actually do more harm to the server than good.

You're perfectly within your rights to ask any questions you might have as it is encouraged. No one should ever be afraid to ask questions if they have any. :kappa:

what I would do is if you want to kill/rdm, don't kill new players and kill every other min. If you have too. What I would try doing is don't kill anyone unless the attack first for a day and see how it is, cause maybe someone would kill you and you might feel how it's like.

Most police wont warn you

I recommend paying attention to how much you rdm

It was me i was the one who vip'd him for 10 minutes

it was a fitting reason

Thank you for your input. The responses i have seen have been thoughtful. However, they did not apply to this situation.

I had only RDM'ed DOGE (who apparently was skittles), Allu ackbar (someone else who was RDM'ing in a disruptive manner, and MP3 (someone who was spouting racists slurs and RDMing in a disruptive manner). Even with those I had maybe 5+ kills in that five minute block and had actually been slowing down.

This appeared more to me, that a "reputation" was being punished..

That being said, This really makes this servers inconsistencies, selective enforcement, lag, and overall lack of a point of being on add up too much.

I thank you for the time you have all given.

In particular I will miss playing with (Morty, Rev, Earth, Matt Damon) Y'all have been fun.

If there was a simple warning this issue would be a non issue.

Ill sign on later to drop the cash and items I have accumulated.

Thank you,
Cloud.

Already dropped the stuff.

I would like to remove my account from this forum, if a admin can ban me that would be great.

This server is many of your guys cup of tea, just not mine.
