I think you just want your drugs to grow faster, TJ.
That obviously, and more things to do when Im bored. Usually when the server is busy I plant printers and run around the map. Unless Im afk of course.
What more can you do with more afk players? nothing really other than sitting in front of them and staring at them. As skittle stated above its only for your plants
Debatable. A server with enough people, even if they're afk, gives off a valuable first impression to new players that first connect and have no idea what's going on. If they connect and only 5 people are on, they're more likely to instantly disconnect because the server is empty.
If new players connect and see that there's about 15+ people on the server, even if most of them are afk, chances are that they become more interested and begin asking questions on how to play. I have seen this happen many, many times and all it takes is ONE active player on the server to begin answering questions and providing tutorials to the new players.
A simple explanation as to why everyone is afk is enough to intrigue their interests, as they begin to believe that the server is incredibly active during the day when everyone is finally awake. Usually what happens at this time, is that they spend a little more time on the server checking things out and then say they'll come back later to check it out again, maybe when it's more active.
Rather than trying to question ti's motives for this post, the members of this community can help moonshade's popularity progress by taking the time to explain how the gameplay works to the many new players that connect daily. I've seen many of the current players on the map not bother taking the time to help out new players and then get frustrated when the server is dead.
I've only seen a handful of moonshine's current active players go out of their way to help out new players. The most helpful player i've seen on the server is Matt Damon, as he unselfishly takes the time to explain every aspect of roleplay and even provides safe housing for these new players. The only other players i've seen help out multiple new players, other than myself, are probably Morty, Earth, and occasionally Myback. This is a major problem that has to be addressed because a lot of new players quit after being excessively rdm'ed by every other player on the server.
If we're really interested in the growth of this server, every player holds the same responsibilities and should take the time to try and teach new players every single time you see them connecting, rather than rdm them until they get frustrated and leave forever... NO ONE LIKES AN EMPTY SERVER
