Resigning.

I am hereby resigning as cop until such time as I apply for and receive admin. If that does not happen, then don't expect me to re-apply for cop anytime soon.

Approximately three days total of playing as cop, I will now list off such things as I have encountered

1: Other cops throwing nade cuffs at someone just before I cuff them
2: Other cops using a bunny hop to close the distance last second when i'm right behind the person and about to cuff them
3: One specific cop "accidentally" uncuffing my cuffs multiple times
4: Other cops constantly shooting me while i'm trying to move around and perform my duties, resulting in my being unable to move, chase, or even leave the PD at any speed other than a crawl.
5: One specific cop insulting and harassing me constantly until the point where I no longer find playing on the police team to be fun
6: The fact that cops are both allowed to use keys to go into an apartment and destroy drugs/printers/arrest people without any penalty
7: People not understanding how the system works, and insisting that I owe them money after being forced to kick their door down
8: People spreading bullshit, lies, and slander about how i'm such a horrible person because of the one time I didn't jail/unjail them.
9: The fact that people can deliberately kill your cop cuff resulting in a loss of experience and pay.
10: The fact that administrators on this server completely ignore the following rule: "Respect all players, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, past experiences, or any factors that may modify your relationship with them. No excuses.` This results in me waiting through several hours of people insisting that I'm definitely a f♥ggot with no balls, a cunt, and a horrible player. These are issues that only seem to persist after having jailed someone.

The conclusion that I draw from this, is that players in this server are extremely spoiled. They bitch and moan if they're not immediately unjailed, they get angry when you arrest them, and they spend hour after hour insulting you for doing your job.

I realize that this may seem trivial to many of you, but I'm not a person who enjoys sitting through bullshit like this. As such, I will no longer volunteer my time to serve as a police officer on a server where the experience does not feel rewarding in the slightest. Please understand that I do not hate the server, nor do I place any blame on the authority, but I do however believe that players are definitely spoiled, and are given too much leeway when it comes to disrespecting other players. After all, It's really not hard to keep a server clean of assholes, I've seen it done, and done it before. The longer you let the shit stay, the more it stinks. The only reason you think it doesn't stink, is because you've been smelling it for too long.

1) Just a normal thing, it doesn't matter how close you are, who ever gets the cuff, gets the cuff.
2) Just another normal thing, either learn how to BHOP or use E to gain a temporary speed boost.
3) Report the cop, I'm sure we'll deal with him/her.
4) I agree, there's something that needs to be done about team tagging.
5) Once again, report the player, we'll deal with them.
6) If they own the room, it's their choice.

8) Expect to get shit from players, trust me, I just laugh at them so hard. "WHY YOU JAIL ME", "Cause you have faking crime moron." - Just throw out anything you got at them if they give you shit.
9) Hate this when it happens but it happens rarely to me at least just because once I cuff them, I send them to jail immediately, if you cannot catch them once they're cuffed just use the menu that popped up on the left hand side of your screen.
10) That rule will never be followed properly, banter is allowed on the server just not to the extent that it becomes a common thing and is very offensive. Like if you jail someone and they call you a knobhead, just expect that to happen. Not really breaking a rule, just releasing anger cause they were about to sell their drugs. 😛 but if they keep doing so, consult one of the admins, apparently we have many of them so where the fuck are they to help hmm? oh that's right, playing on immortal, unloyal hoes.

Note this happens in any server, just because you play on this server alone and then don't automatically assume other rp servers are better, trust me, I've played a lot of rp in my time, this is a common thing and you just need to learn how to ignore the shit that's dripping from their mouths.
So here I am, telling you not to resign, but to fight your way through the cop ranks and progress on. Perhaps it doesn't feel rewarding but trust me, playing cop can lead to many funny situations, it's not a requirement to be a cop on the server and not everyone has to become one, but so is admin. Admins get the same shit from players most of the time. If you don't want to be cop, that is fine but at least give it a go just a bit longer. 😛

Ion, I am a 5 year veteran of RP server, and i find quite a lot of this to be absolutely ridiculous.

1: There should be some sort of rule, because ill have cops ranked senior officer and above basically stealing arrests from recruits and jail guards. It's completely unfair that when im chasing and about to cuff, they drop off a ledge, or use a bhop or nade to steal it at the last second.
2: the disrespect has gone over tolerable levels many times, but the admins totally ignore it.
3: If they own the room, yes, but if they and the other person are both granted keys, they should not be doing this. iirc, any server i've ever played had rules stating that you cannot kill cuffed, and you cannot use keys to go into a room to arrest and destroy.
4: i DO expect to get shit from players, but when they're still bitching and moaning and insulting me hours later, it gets old
5: across the 7 total RP servers i've spent any length of time, I find that i've never had such an issue. I've never been attacked personally as much as I have here in the space of three days.

dude its cop, I had cop one time at or another lol, I stayed cop for 3 months intill idc about losing it, ofc people are going to be retarded with it, what do you expect of people, this isn't a server full of people "not breaking rules" or being respectful + its hard getting exp as cop for the first few ranks

if you have problems with other cops, record them, report them. You know the guy named ".smbdy"? I made him RQ for the stupidest reason, which is RDMing him, not just that, RDMing him as a cop... the only cop when he rqed at the time. DEAL WITH THE PEOPLE YOU ARE WITH. IF RQ YOU'RE WEAK, I LEARNED THIS FROM COMP, IT APPLYS TO WHERE YOU WORK AT, YOUR NEIGHBORS, ETC
