Quick Bit:
I should probably make an introduction as well. Most people here will probably recognize me from SylesRP/CoLD Community. Those of you who have played on Syles's server in the last 6 to 8 months have played on rp_Linesse_v3 or rp_Linesse_v4, which was my main contribution to the server. I have been on Syles since 2012. I eventually became a basic admin, and then worked my way up the ladder. Now I am one of the primary admins who runs the hl2dm server. Currently I am one of the very few who have full panel access, so I am capable of helping with almost anything that requires my assistance. I am currently on vacation, and away from my main desktop other than remote desktop, so I won't really be able to go in game until I get back home. It will say I am online on Steam, but that's just because my home desktop is turned on so I can rdp into it when necessary. On top of all this gaming stuff, I am primarily a programmer. There's not much to me other than gaming, programming, and mapping. I don't need a variety of things to keep me occupied, and such a short list of activities allows me to master them better. I am also a full time University student working towards a Computer Science Degree. Lastly, I
Mapping:
Mewn appears to have made me a mapping consultant, and I am happy to do so. I love mapping, but making full maps is just too much for me, so don't expect any new maps from me made from scratch. However, what you can expect from me is the potential for future updates to my current Linesse map. I have also given Mewn permission to use my map on his CS:GO server if he wishes, and I would love to contribute to the development of ion's map in progress if he would like me to. At the very least, I would love to check any current map projects for optimizations and entity errors prior to their server release, but I am not going to do anything the devs don't want me to do.
Admin shiz:
As stated above, I am currently a root admin on Syles server, and I am able to help with many things on there. If I'm lucky, I will eventually have the privilege of providing support to Moonshade. I will start playing CS:GO once I get back from vacation, and a great thanks to Syle himself for gifting me a copy of that game so I can join you all in about a week and a half. I assume the rp gameplay in CS:GO is similar or identical to that in HL2DM, so learning that probably won't be that hard. Once I get acclimated to it, I'll try making an admin app.
Anyways, it's cool that we're merging and expanding into new games. I can't wait to see you all in CS:GO when I get back home, and I also hope to see some of the Moonshade originals on the HL2DM server at some point.
