Special Forces patches and does anyone know if there are rules about them

I was planning on getting a jacket or hoodie of some sort and was going to put special forces patches on it like GSG9 GIGN SAS because i like playing Rainbow six seige and want a hoodie to represent it yet i can't wear apparel representing guns. So are there any rule against wearing the patches of those forces? just wondering as i had done about 2hours of searching around and looking but found nothing distinct about the patches except the flags of the countries.

I’m almost certain it’s illegal to wear military or police patches, regardless of what military, but even if it isn’t it would be pretty disrespectful regardless.

There’s plenty of hoodies with the individual operators logos on them, that also don’t have any guns on them.

However, if you wear a patch, it can be misconstrued that you were a member of the team. Actual team members get upset when they misconstrue and think you're trying to steal valor. You are of course free to wear military patches. It is not illegal to wear the patches on civilian clothing.

Laws may vary per state or country but remember to be careful what you actually choose to wear since people risk their lives for service and are very touchy when it comes to this kind of apparel.

Thanks for your input guys this was helpful. I can't really decide my favorite operator tbh I might try to find just the title on a hoodie. I did 2hours of research and was really iffy so i thought i could go here and get a final thought. i've been unsuccessful on finding a site or anything on amazon so i'll be back when i can finde a hoodie
