[AP]:Advanced Placement. College level class that you can take in highschool, idk about middleschools.
Curves are usually if the teacher is merciful and uses the highest score a person scored and adds a bit of points to other grades under the best score. To bump them up a bit so everyone doesn't kill themselves from low grades lol.
