While a punishment for killing new players is a great idea, the fine is far too low. Most players can get $1000 from picking money up from the floor and veteran players aren't really affected. I think that either the fine should be raised or some other punishment should be implemented.

While a good idea at first glance, that would upset the rich players., 1% fine of your bank can mean different things for different players at different bank values .

This method of punishment can be avoided as well, so that's another negative.

A percentage of your bank account would be a great substitute. The pros (in my opinion) strongly outweigh the cons and I feel the server could benefit. Less RDM against new people raises their chances of wanting to come back and become a regular player on Moonshade

The purpose of the fine would be to stop the killing that wasn't used as self defense. I know very well from personal experience how cautious someone gets while on a drug run, but the whole point of the rule is to give insurance to new players and make them know that the server isn't too chaotic

Exactly... I've been scared of people around me holding guns, or knives and just killed them because they could steal your drugs...

Maybe if you have more than 1800 drugs, then the fine shouldn't happen...?

Also the idea of 5000 dollars as a fine, what if someone just got 5 hours, killed a guy, and lost his whole bank/a LOT of it...

Honestly I feel that if anything, new players have a item to protect them for 30 minutes. Said item cannot be dropped or given, only used. 30 minutes of immunity but they cannot use it if they have over 5 hours.

This seems pretty unfair to me because say a new player hits 5 hours and kills a new player he only has 5 hours what is he going to do? He would loose most of his bank but say a player with 500+ hours kills a new player 5k aint shit to them so it would affect them in no way shape or form.I think a good way to solve the new player's from getting rmd'd is to put a 1-3% bank lose according to the amount of money they have in the current bank. EG I have over 30k money i get a 1% lose but if i have 1mil+ i get a 3% lose.I think this would be a fair way because it evens out the economy and also is a very good punishment for killing new people.And would urge players not to kill players with over 5 hours BUT there should also be a way to stop players with under 5 hours killing player with over 5 hours because the players with over would want to get a revenge kill but they could possibly loose a % of their bank because of this and could screw alot of people over with it.So imo this should be a improved system but should not be made so OP where as you could loose half your bank because of one accident kill.

Myback is a dev if he committed to the server,which he is,he wouldnt mind doing it.Even if he had to do it over multiple sessions of coding.
